While holding a spark plug with its base firmly against the engine, push the electric starter button. If the ignition system is operating properly, a blue spark should jump across the spark plug gap.
Retry the above procedure with the cleaned spark plug or new one.
Warning
Avoid performing this check if you are not familiar with this procedure, or if you have a heart condition or wear a pacemaker. Keep the spark plug away from the spark plug hole during this test. |
