Transmission installation
Install the transmission in the reverse order of removal.
Pay attention to the following points:
Bearing and oil seal
Caution
replace the removed bearings and oil seals
with new ones ...
Countershaft gear / driveshaft gear
disassembly and assembly
Refer to “transmission removal” and “transmission installation” .
Disassembly
Caution
identify the position of each removed part.
Organize the parts in their respective groups

Disassembly
Remove the pad spring (1) and rubber boot (2) from
the caliper.
Place a rag over the piston to prevent it from popping
out and then force out the piston using compressed
air.

Cooling circuit inspection
Do not open the radiator cap when the
engine is hot, as you may be injured by
escaping hot liquid or vapor.
When removing the radiator cap tester, put
a rag on the filler to prevent the engine
coolant from spraying out.

Idle speed
Adjust the engine idle speed periodically on the engine at normal operating
temperature.
To adjust the idle speed:
Lift the fuel tank by referring to
the air cleaner section.
Start the engine and warm it
up by running at idling speed
for 10 minutes in summer
